My transmission went out on my vehicle while I was on a trip out of state ( North Dakota ) I had my vehicle hauled to Cottman. I was thinking the price was going to be outrageous and I was sure it was going to take a long time. However the good people who work here worked hard to get me back on the road for a fair and reasonably requested price for the service they do. The honesty the shop had was a great thing to see again. I'd recommend Cottman if your wanting a fair price, honest dealings, reasonable completion date.

We were traveling back home to ND when our Bronco's transmission went out and we broke down on 29 North in Kansas City MO. Cottman arrived quickly to tow our Bronco to their shop and they rebuilt it. Great service and work. We made it back home!

I took my car there because the transmission only had first and second gears. Kenny was fantastic! It was bad news and I needed a major repair. They did it quickly and it works great! They also checked my oil sensor and put pads on because they were in bad shape. I have always been leery about transmission shops because of all the bad ones, but Kenny and his crew came highly recommended and they lived up to the reputation.

Good workmanship! In December 2016, my husband's 2006 Volvo x70 needed a transmission rebuild. Cottman in Gladstone was recommended to us, and we could not be happier with the service. The car has been going a year now and drives very smoothly. We have 234,000 miles and hope to go another 234,000. All of the people at Cottman are knowledgeable and nice. We were so happy with our experience that we have returned to Cottman with my 2008 Volvo for a hose problem. Cottman is one of our main go-to places for car repair.
